If you're interested in any of the below positions, and haven't filled out the volunteer application form please do so! If you've already filled it out, please discuss (in a reply to this or a new thread on this board) which position(s) you'd be most interested in doing, perhaps do an ordered list of the things you're willing to do where #1 is the thing you're most interested in doing. Things that are crossed out are no longer needed for this art fight but might be needed next year. Here's a work in progress list for what positions we will be needing people for. I will probably be filling some or a lot of these roles. - Social media coordinator(s): will be in charge of posting to deviantArt, Tumblr, and Twitter, possibly others if people think we should add places.
- Forum Moderators and Admin(s): Monitor posts on the forums and make sure everyone's following the rules, etc.
- Monitor art submissions: Tell me about your experience with modding if you didn't say anything on the application form.
Site Artist(s): please post examples of a link to examples of your work.
Coder(s): Mostly if you know how to make some sweet plugins that we should use for these forums!
- Writer(s): Again, maybe short examples? (Maybe)

Ah... pardon my slow (it's very hot here) but what exactly does social media person refer to?
As mentioned I may be willing to work as a site artist?

I'm planning on having a tumblr and maybe more places to post things and having someone in charge of posting to social media sites for me would take a great burden off of me haha. I'm also preparing to let more people on this forum so that's why I'm posting more things

I currently have hold of the "OfficialArtFight" dA group; I'm willing to add any mods that are social media-ing.
Things I am interested in/able to do:
- Social Media (particularly dA and similar)
- Moniter art submissions (also point values? I helped with point value and calculators this year?)
- Site Artist
- Coder (HTML, CSS, BBCode, Python & Javascript, working on basic PHP)

I can help with forum moderation (directing, moving threads, etc) but I might be better off in chat!

What does the site artist do? I believe site artists make the banners and general art for the site. not sure about graphics though |
