Hello! I'm Takaia but the forums forced me to have the username of "admin" (if you need to ping me, use that instead of Takaia) because I am the new owner of Art Fight! I love Art Fight and I love you all, so naturally I'm doing all I can to make sure this is a fun and successful event, along with my amazing team!

I was officially handed Art Fight from the previous host on 13 July 2015. Unfortunately literally none of the resources were handed down, so I've had to start this back up from scratch. It's been less than a month and we've already made so much progress! There are still things to be done, but rest assured we are working hard every day to make this thing happen.

I'll write a little more about myself since this is the introductions thread!

Besides Art Fight, I love animals, art (of course), coding, and tea among other things. I currently have 1 pet sugar glider. I have a day job working at an arts and crafts store.

I've been very very busy lately, not only with Art Fight but also trying hard to find new friend(s) for my lonely sugar glider, as her mate just died a couple weeks ago, and I've been working feverishly to clean my apartment in preparation for getting new little ones as well as because we found out we have a quite large mold problem. I'm hoping so hard that everything will be okay once we deep clean the whole apartment and we don't have to move out because moving is a lot of work and I really don't want that added to my plate right now with all the other things I have to worry about! Though this all means I can't spend all my time on Art Fight, I am spending several hours per day on it and even more on my days off. Luckily some great people have stepped up and offered to help me do this!
